Professor Dr. Li Xiangkai appointed as an Adjunct professor in Shoolini University, India October 14,2022 Lanzhou university is in collaboration with Shoolini University since last few years (2016-till date). This collaboration started with an aim to strengthen the bonds between China and India on an academic basis, which has given students a chance to expand education on an international platform. This collaboration was initiated by “Dr. P.K. Khosla, Chancellor Shoolini University and Dr. Li Xiangkai, Head of Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, Lanzhou University”, with the assistance of Dr. Saurabh Kulshreshtha. Till date both the universities have published several combined research papers. Students from Shoolini University have been receiving research guidance under the supervision of Dr. Li Xiangkai Li, through the six months student exchange program. On being offered the position of an adjunct professor in Shoolini University, Dr. Li Xiangkai happily accepted the offer. He stated, “Its an immense pleasure for me to accept this position”. He further added, “Shoolini university students are hardworking and work with confidence. This bond between the two universities should continue to become stronger in the future. I would be more than happy to train more students and have future research collaborations. Also, students from our university will get a chance to explore education in India. This position of an adjunct professor opened a gateway for strengthening this bond”. This acceptance has raised the educational standards for both Shoolini University and Lanzhou University. Such opportunities, will further set a benchmark for Lanzhou University’s educational background, locally and internationally.
