She was granted the title of “Lifetime Honorary Professor” by the University of Western Australia. She has long been engaged in the fields of soil microbiology, agriculture and forestry ecology. She has first proposed the concept and evaluation system of soil biological fertility, and has high academic reputation in the field of soil microbiology research. She has published about 160 papers in Ecol. lett., PNAS, New Phytol., Agr Ecosyst. Environ., Soil Bio. Biochem. and other top journals in the field of agriculture and forestry. The total number of citations is more than 6,400 and the H-Index is as high as 46.
